Chapter Six: A Place Where Most Things End...

Alone in the dark... titles the situation the dark brown beast was rather perfectly... he could only remember a few blinks of what happened, but could only hear his own heart beats in his chest, with some thing tender, affectionate and warm surrounding him... his daughter at his legs snuggling her self into him, in a crouch like position, protecting him as the day came to an end, and the sun started to set into the far horizon... Asako was just standing next to him, her head on his shoulder, her breath on his neck, leaning half her weight on his side, arms around his neck; both females seemed to be somewhat asleep, or kind of dozed off... in the dark world, he just smiled, then drew his long dark brown arms to embrace them both into his warm fur, slightly they both seemed to go with that and snuggled them selves into him, both fast asleep, sitting between his legs, he flicked his tail, it was long enough to almost surround them all, arms holding them in a cloud of warmth... his rhythmic heart beats rang in their sleepy minds, like a sweet melody of a song...

He hasn't felt that wonderful sensation for a long time... for how long? Why haven't he felt it all this time? Last thing he recalls feeling it was... he couldn't bring back the memory... it was gone... his heart beats rose a little faster in his chest, the feeling was a bit overwhelming, all the arms surrounding him... making him feel so safe in the dark world he was trapped in... he wanted to open his eyes, but even if he did, he wouldn't know if his eye lids moved or not, cause he couldn't feel them at all... a scary feeling drew its self into him as his breath quickened... he wanted to see his daughter, for him, she looked absolutely adorable while she slept in her mothers embrace... his mate... Shadow... is she still alive? Will he ever see her again? If not mentally, could he hear her voice again? Or is he going to loose every thing he had? Why did all of this happen in the first place??

Thinking back... it was his fault from the start, as it was his mania for water serpent... he went hunting them for so long, he couldn't stop, as he neglected his mate and daughter for his own desires... was this a punishment from god? Is he testing him? 'Oh-God forgive my foolishness... I pray for you right now, I swear I will not eat another water serpent as long as I live... I only beg your mercy to make all things go back to the way they were...' the beast prayed in his heart, squirming in pain, as a single droplet wheeling in his eyes, drawing its wet line on his furry stripped face... eye lids opening for his eyes to flash, in no color at all... his yellow eyes have lost their glow, and now, they are nothing but two pupilless gray slitted eyes, absolutely blind, and sentenced to see nothing but eternal darkness... eyes open or not... he couldn't tell... he could feel him self blink, but couldn't see any thing... after a short pause, his eye lids shut tight as a few more droplets drew their way down his face, as he figured out what had happened to them...

"Blind..." he sobbed... some thing clutched his breath, as pain cried loud in his mind... a few more droplets fell of his face, dripping from his chin...
"Nightmare?" the human girl questioned, as she blinked him... his tears have fell on her shoulder waking her up, as the little beast was still asleep, knowing nothing of what her father was going through his own thoughts... "Why are you crying? What's wrong?" she whispered, as she sounded concerned... she had never seen a beast cry before, never a male... and defiantly not Tora!!
"Uh I'm... blind" he whispered to her, with a faint laugh filling it, teeth tips showing, and his voice broken with pain... her eyes widened, blinking once, she led two careful fore fingers on top and bottom of his eye lids... slowly opening one of his eyes... it was dead gray... she gasped slightly as she drew back her hands, one on her heart, the other on her lips...
"I... I'm sorry Nightmare; I didn't..." she mumbled... she didn't know what to say to him... she felt her heart race in a horrible speed... "Is there any thing I can do to make things better?" she asked soothingly, hoping that there was some thing, just any thing in her hands...
"I wouldn't think so, child..." he whispered to her slightly, teeth tips showed; slowly he drew his hand carefully not to claw her, trying to find her face... She held his huge dark brown hand in hers, as she held them tight... his cold finger tips felt numb, as her own tiny hands felt warm to the beast... he had never felt that for some time hasn't he?! Usually, he felt it from his mates embrace at winter nights back home... he could remember them now... back then, when they first knew each other, they really shared a lot of things together... good and bad... then Ann came in... and that's when things changed... he felt some how out of his mates attention, she paid most of her attention to the little one... jealousy of his own child? Was that the reason he went hunting serpents for? He never could figure it out... or was it that he couldn't remember it? Sigh... but now... he'll have to work that problem out any way... since he can't see any thing, he'll have enough silence and darkness to think of every thing...
"Nightmare, are you listening?" asked the human girl, her voice sounded a bit scolding, as her hands clutched his hand tight... the beast raised his head towards her, and gave a nod...
"I'm sorry... you were saying some thing?" his fingers wrapped her tiny fingers placed in the palm of his hand, careful not to claw them... she could feel his heart beats in the palm of his hand...
"Nightmare..." she murmured... she wanted to say some thing but, she just couldn't think of any thing!!

Silence grew deeper and more frightening than before now... Asako found her self wheeling tears in her eyes, quickly thinking of how stupid it was, she whipped them away as she embraced the beast, arms around his neck... he froze, gray slit pupilless eyes wide open, blinking... he could feel her warmth, and he cherished it... in return, he wrapped his arms around her small human body and embraced her tenderly...one arm slightly brushed his daughters head, still deep in sleep... they stayed like that for some time... as time slightly froze with a sad breeze of a song blew among the long grass they rested upon... after a pause of silence... the huge dark brown beast had the feeling that... 'Blind or not... I have to find her!' he thought... slightly rising his head, he let go of the human female, to her surprise, and walked away... eyes closed, tail flickering...
"Nightmare! Where are you going?" she questioned "your not gonna go look for them by your self are you?" she stood up watching him as he stopped, still not turning to her "If you are, you're not going alone! And not in your condition either!!" she scolded... she knew what he was thinking of, and she wanted to join... and besides, she hated being left behind doing nothing while every one did their beast to help... the beast just smiled, showing that he would like it if she wanted to join... giving a nod, Asako picked up the sleeping little female and walked with him side by side... deep into the darkness of the forest...

A giant bug like creature lurked among its burrow, dangling its new furry pray next to its old human one, that seemed to still be alive... the ugly bug crawled away leaving its disgusting puss to awaken the female beast... the human was tired and felt her limbs dry from not being able to move at all, finger tips freezing like if they were dipped in ice... the human girl saw all the dangling bodies all around her, as bones and skeletons only, and some with tattered clothing... and she didn't want to end up being like them at all... eyeing the female beast, she called her as loud as she can...
"S-shadow... shadow can you hear me??"
"W-wha~?!" the female beast woke up, snorting as the acid puss snapped her sensitive nose, as pain snapped every bone in her body... "Oh... God I feel like some body has just ripped my chests ribs wide open..." eyeing the human girl "M-Mayuko!! Honey, your alright!! God what happened to you? You look so pale!!"
"I'm okay... just tired..." she smiled "the giant bug got you too eh?" she said softly with a tired voice... she just felt pleased to know the female was still alive and okay...
"Yeah..." murmured the female, looking down into the quick sand pit under them swirling in a cycle... eyes widened "Uhh!!!! God-I hope the beast barrier would find us fast! I don't like heights... quick sand, and big bugs nether!!" worriedly said the female beast...
"U-Ushio?" questioned the human girl "you saw Ushio?" hope smiled to her... her friend came to help...
"Well, yeah... he came with a big orange fuzz ball he names Tora... then another harsh voiced girl came a long with my 'good for nothing mate' and daughter..." she paused as she saw the humans face lighten up... "You know all of them?"
"Yes... don't worry Shadow... they wont let us die..." she smiled... looking up at the sky, her lips slightly moved as she seemed to pray for some thing... only God knew what it was... the female beast just blinked at her a few times, as she sank in an ocean of thoughts... looking at the sand pit, then the sky, she just wondered if every one was alright...

A few steps in a field of long grass, long till a human temple boys kneecaps, and the top of a beasts heels... annoyed by the damp weather they found, they couldn't help them selves to stop sweating and panting... not to mention cursing each other!!
"Oh shut up strip face, you sh** headed doo-doo of a fur ball... you cant even walk with out tripping over your own feet!" cried the temple boy, he almost slipped, spear held in a horizontal position so he could keep his balance as he walked thought the long damp grass, as the grass seemed to be a swamp... tattered shit and jeans, filthy with dirt, mud and stuff that's unknown!!
"Oh-shut your crap your self you lousy brat!! Its not like I see you doing any better!!" hissed the beast yelling at the boy... Ushio slipped and found him self painfully yanking the beast mane, trying not to splash into water... "YAW!!!!" cried the beast in pain, as he smacked the boy's hand, grabbing him by the wrist, cursing, and then throwing him sky-wards on his own back...
"Wha~??" the boy was puzzled, as the boy found him self on the beasts back "Tora, why are you..." said the boy while eyeing his surroundings...
"Put a cork in it and SHUT UP!!" the beast cried "its safer that way... at least you wont have to yank me for balance!!" he mumbled, hoping the boy wont hear him... didn't work!
"Uh...thanks Tora!" smiled the boy; brushing away mud from his shoes, propping the spear a little away from the beast body...
"What ever..." slurred the beast, as the temple boy settled him self on the beast back...
"Hey!! Watch it with the heels Brat! They dig!!" complained the beast, as the temple boy chuckled murmuring 'sorry!' as he drew back his legs from the beast waist... still walking deeply into the swamp, the beast kept on cursing over and over, in a way no buddy could possibly understand!

After a short time of walking, the beast tried his beast not to get his hands and feet wrapped in the long grass blocking his view, or get stuck in the mud, as the temple boy on his back warned him of what's beyond his view... flying wasn't a good idea, cause the tree tops at night blocked all sort of light, and the tree tops had long leaves dangling like cretins, so getting tied up again up-side-down wasn't some thing he wanted to go though even again! "Sh**!!" cursed the beast, as he tried to pull out his hands that were tuck in the mud, but sadly he slipped and fell flat on his face in the deep swamp... Ushio managed to jump off before sinking in the waters again... the beast came out with a gasp, in need of air... the temple boy quickly gripped his huge stripped arm and pulled with all his best out of the waters...
"You okay?" questioned the boy, as the beast gave a nod, as he just panted cursing...
"This is hopeless, how are we gonna find them..." hissed the beast... "If I can't see a darn thing out there!!" said the beast in a bit more of a depressed voice... even him as himself couldn't see in that darkness, although the temple boy knew the beast had cat like eyes that could see in the dark better than his human eyes...
"Them?" questioned the boy, as the beast just craned his head to him with a puzzled face...
"Yeah, 'Them'!!" he said "the hamburger girl and the female beast!" he cleared the thing out "what! Don't tell me you forgot why the f***ing hell we came here in the first place!!" he cried in anger mixed with annoyance...
"Oh I was so busy thinking of Shadow, I almost forgot about Mayuko..." panting slightly with a stupid smile on his face... "But this place is too dark, damp and darn annoying!" he cursed, "I bet even a bat cant find his way here!!" he mumbled...

"Not necessarily!" a voice echoed through the darkness... both, beast and boy swung around to see the dark brown figure, eyes closed shut, and tail slightly flickering, as Asako and Ann stood near him...
"Its about time we found you!! Haven't you found them yet?" scolded Asako, as Ann simply paced towards Tora with a faint smile... all three of them were dirty with mud and other sticky, stinky mushy stuff! Fur and clothing...
"Are you two alright?" she questioned, sounding a little shallow... Ushio stood up on his feet, puzzled jaws open...
"A-Asako?? how'd you get here?" he questioned... it took him and the ancient beast along time to get this far, so how did they find them so fast?
"Easy! Nightmare has an instinct in interacting with the dark!" explained Asako, while she brushed the brown beasts light gray forelock with a forking hand "after all...his name 'is' Nightmare!!" she concluded...
"Don't do that!" he flushed, head slightly backing up, he wasn't used on any buddy doing that to his mane, except his mate... the human girl just smiled back, hand drawing back, cupping her waist, then eyeing her friend, he was eyeing her pose...
"So?" she questioned him, he blinked with a puzzled stupid look "any sign of them?" she shocks her head almost making fun of him... as he just swung the spear around into his grip...
"Uhh..." he mumbled... he really didn't know what to tell her... "Sorry... but we couldn't find a trace of them!" he said it "that ugly thing is pretty good in hiding!"...
"Then maybe your not looking hard enough!" hissed the brown beast, as he slightly paced slowly towards them, sniffing the air, he almost groaned, then turned to them, eyes still closed "this way!"
"??" Blinked the orange beast... he never knew that the other beast could walk in the dark just like if they were in the mid day light!
"Come..." was all what Nightmare said, as he slightly paced, slow and careful, through the darkness... the others silently followed...

A human with one leg, a sniper rifle and a flamethrower, was simply stalking a movement around him... it was some thing dangling in a few vines... quick sand pits all around, with skeletons and dead thing scattered also, acid smelling puss, making his eyes wheel tears on force, and making his nose almost feel like it broke a pipe!! But slipping into one of the sand pits could only mean death, and ending up just like the dead bones... but then, he heard two feminine voices talk... well, one of them was more like complaining than talking!!

"Heck... my arms are killing me... what's taking them so long?" complained the female beast... as she craned her head to the human girl... the man's eyes widened, as he stalked her... he didn't know she could talk!!
"Well... they might be slow... but they all ways get there in the nick of time!" soothingly said Mayuko, as the man recognized her...
"Yeah... or the neck of time! Our 'neck's' in the beasts jaws even!" she protested, "I'd hate to get stuck in those ugly teeth didn't it ever hear of a breath mint?" she mocked...
"Shadow! Have faith!" smiled the human girl, trying to calm the angry female, who was crackling thunder in her forelock, cursing the defenseless plants wrapping her... the human girl was really getting tired, and she could feel the cold blood seep in her body, little by little, she was loosing her strength... eyes closed for a second, in deer need of rest... then... eyes of ocean gray suddenly flashed...
"W-who's there?" she squeaked, as she felt a strange quick movement near by...
"What?" questioned Shadow, she was really too busy cursing, and struggling with the vines to notice any thing!

"Do you really want to know?" a human voice question, then laughed wickedly, sounding more like it was really full of it's self...
"I know that voice!" softly whispered the female beast... suddenly frowning with a growl, thunder crackling as rough and loud as her cuffs "impossible! You should've been as good as dead by now you f***ing a** h***!!" she cursed... "Show your self human!" she demanded, "I know you're out there Beast Hunter!!" she cried...

Then... the first thing they saw, was only the rifles head pointing right to the female beast heart... darting it, the human slowly walked out of the bushes, with one leg crutching the flamethrower, only for the human girl to gasp... 'He's still alive?' she thought to her self... as far as she knew, what Shadow just said was true, after all, the female beast did rip off his leg!!

Eyeing the look of vengeance in his eyes, Mayuko knew he was not going to rest till he had killed the female beast... probably thinking of having her as a throw rug in front of a fireplace or some thing! He and the female beast were glaring each other with nothing but true hatred in their eyes...
"You..." he whispered, as Shadow simply blinked "it's you!" he smiled soothingly "it's really you after all!" his dark blue eyes dreamed off, as his thick eyebrows rose...
"Huh?" Shadow was confused, 'what's he talking about?' She thought to her self, craning her head, almost asking the human girl dangling next to her, who only shrugged 'I dunno!' with a cocked eyebrow...
"What's your name female?" he questioned...
"Dose it matter? Your just gonna kill me any way, aren't you?" she protested, head shifting to the human girl... Mayuko had a bad feeling about this!
"What do you think of, when I say... falling down a cliff, and splattering like a bug?" questioned the human, teeth showing with evil, as Shadow felt a shivering cold feeling crawl down her spine... she didn't like heights, her short fur stood up straight, as her tail and mane kind of went fluffy... [Hint! I didn't say this till now, but Shadow is afraid of heights! She already has all the abilities Tora has, but she doesn't know how to fly!]
"Like what you think, if I said 'touch me and I'll bite your other leg off!" growled the female... only to be rewarded with the flamethrowers pipe in her face... the man was tall, but the pipe of the flamethrower was long enough to be nearly close enough to be a few inches from her face... the man silently cursed her as he stood on the edge of the quick sand pit under them, careful not to fall in... pipe in her face, she gulped, as she glared his fingers on the trigger, ready to pull in any second...

A moment of silence grew between them... as Mayuko felt some thing shift in the sands near by, gasping she cried for the man to quickly duck... luckily he did, and with nothing but sheer luck, he avoided a tentacle full with poisonous thorns, that managed to 'not' rip his head off!!
"What the-" and before he could even finish what he was saying, some thing smacked him by the stomach, sending him to fly a few feet away, back slamming in a tree, slipping down, falling on his butt with a thud... feeling the rush of pain in his ribs, only did the "Look Out!!" cry, take attention for him to dodge another blow from the ugly puss spitting beast... the beasts puss seeped on the vines over the two dangling females, as the planes started to brake with the acid, slowly giving them the sign that they'll fall in the quick sand... quickly drawing his arm back for the flamethrower, only then did he figure out that the beast flinched it out of his grip, to fall a few feet away from him, as his sniper rifle stood vertically in the circular lipless mouth, being melted by its acid puss... it seemed that the bug beast doesn't like the taste of ammo as much as living flush!! As it spit out the half melted gun, to slowly and hungrily crawl with its drool dripping to the startled human... a large spiky tentacle drew quick towards him, as he drew his arm on his face in need of protection...

"Heeee-Yaaaaaaaaa!!!!!" a loud teen voice cried as a 7foot spear drew its jagged line snipping the tentacle away from the rest of the body... "USHIO!!" cried Mayuko in happiness, but quickly her face shifted "LOOK OUT!!" she shouted, as the beast managed to quickly swoop a tentacle around his leg before he even got a chance to land back on earth!!

The vines snipped slowly, melting by the acid...

"USHIO!" cried Shadow, as the beast barrier fell into a bush full of thrones next to a surprised man... the muscled man quickly snapped out of his trance, slipping his way carefully, aiming to the flamethrower... as another tentacle drew its way ignoring him, darting the temple boys legs wrapping it up again...
"AH!!" shouted the boy in pain as a thorn ripped its way in his ankle... the bug beast threw him away again, also in pain, as a huge orange beast was busy sharpening his jaws and claws on its back!
"Hey, you want more ugly? I'll give you more!!" exclaimed Tora in a happy voice; finally he found some thing to play with!!
"Tora!!" exclaimed Mayuko; she was really relieved to see them both! But Ushio seemed to be having a hard time battling the beast... hope he can do it! but still, the vines were collapsing...
But it seemed that the bug didn't agree with Tora on what he's doing on its back, and quickly smacked his back with a spiky tentacle... well, the bug though that it hit Tora, but it didn't! The over grown fuzz ball was a little too quick for it's quick tentacles, and the bug ended up splintering its self!! Stupid thing... any way...

Yowling in pain, the bug tried to grab the beast as it felt a sudden pain in its tentacles, from a spear ripping it up!! It craned it worm like neck and head to the human, who was dragging him self slowly to a huge tin thing, not thinking, it quickly gripped him by his only leg, as another tentacle wrapped him by the waist...
"Let go of me you filthy thing!" he protested, trying his best to push away the tentacle... only to be gifted with a hard squeeze, almost making him feel like tooth paste!
"I am... Fuusetsu!!" he whispered more to him self that to any one else "And I'm not gonna let some over grown *thing* kill me, not now... not EVER!!" he cried, stretching his arms sky-wards out of the beasts grip, for its own surprise...
"Duck!" a voice called, quickly craning his head around, the man saw the temple boy swinging the spears head towards him, with nothing but startle, the man ducked arms over head, to have the tentacle wrapping him snap releasing him, not to mention snipping a few short locks of his long pony-tailed red hair, still, thudding on his tender part of the hard stone his eyes snapped in pain!

"Oh... damn you-you little..." and he didn't continue, as he saw the temple boy in a strange pose, spear gripped so tight in his hands, as the spear hummed oddly... Fuusetsu startled for a second, but only blinked once at the sudden black cloud of a massing lock of hair whooshed it's way in front of his own sight, yet rubbing his eyes in not believing what he saw, he fixed his eyes on the spear... 'The... Kimono-No-Yuri?' he questioned him self in dazzled eyes, 'but I thought it was only a myth!!' he cocked an eye brow, as only did the boys leap towards the ugly bug snap him out of his trance...

The females watched from their hanging, almost about to fall, prison at the battle around them... "Mayuko!!" a harsh voiced girl cried to her 'finally had been found' friend, dangling a few feet away, over a sand pit still... "Are you alright?" she questioned, wanting nothing but a soothing answer...
"Asako!!" whispered the girl, she was startled yet happy to see her "how'd *you* get here?" she cocked her head puzzled...
"Uh I'll explain it later" she cupped her waist, "but now, since Ushio's taking over the ugly thing attention, lets get you two outta here!!" she exclaimed...

SNAP!! The vines broke, only for the two females to drop fast into the sand swirling under them "!!MAYUKO!!" gasping, Asako was startled, she was just about to grab her friend's hand, but the sand drew her back... "ASAKO! HELP!!" pleaded Mayuko, fear clutching her breath as she and the female beast slowly sank into the sands...a few vines fell with them, not completely melted, they were strong and long enough for the females to hold on to... sand was till their waists, legs totally helpless by the strong power of the earth pulling them down... "UH!!" nerves, Shadow never felt such fear in her life, she was absolutely speechless... not to forget that her cuffs didn't spare any weight!! The sand felt so cold and deadly... but then, a few flashes came to her view, for nothing but her mate and daughter... having nothing but hope, she cried her lungs out!! "NIGHTMARE!! HELP ME!!"

A head furred with a milky tanned mane, and a light gray forelock craned back towards the call... "Shadow?" the dark brown beast frowned, eyes still closed, he and his daughter have stayed back, a little distance away, because the temple boy told them it would be safer, and better for their condition, after all, Nightmare's blind, and Ann's just a child... and Asako... well... whether he liked it or not, she was gonna join!! Simply not for the orange ancient beasts surprise, Tora knew she was gonna join them, either that or beat the snout outta them both if they refused!

The dark brown beast stood on his hind legs walking towards them, teeth tips showing, and tail flickering... "Dad? Where are you going?" the little female questioned, "Ushio told us to stay back remember!" he did not answer back, slowly walking a few feet away from her with every step, "Dad!!" she squeaked, "are you listening?" she questioned again... then, he stopped, listening to what's around them...

"NIGHTMARE!!!"

A loud scream of fear drew its self into his mind... "Shadow!" he gasped... as the little female hears the scream as well "Mom!!" she was startled... suddenly, her father leaped away, having nothing to think of but follow him... but then, some thing beyond the long swamp grass stalked them with its yellow glowing eyes and scaly skin, as it gave a sign to another of its kind to follow as it turned back heading some where far...

Running through the long grass, long sky embracing trees, and dark, dark cold gloomy night... then, she was there... her mother and... another human girl?! Ann cocked an eye brow, as she craned her head to a yawl of pain, only to blink a beast, like a huge bug, three times as big as Tora him self, and Tora happened to be on it's head having fun! Tentacles with hard thrones, spiky heads lashing every one round, with a few more snipped off tentacles crawling here and there... as the Beast Barrier dug a few holes in its slimy body, still doesn't seem to be doing much but scratch it or some thing, despite the continuously gift of the stinky puss filling his clothing... another human... with one leg, dragging him self towards some thing faintly glowing with all the light the orange beast was crackling through his forelock... and her father... where was he? There!! With the human girl, arm holding hers as Asako drew her hand as close as she can to the two females, who were still holding the vines tight, sinking in the sand till their shoulders...

"Mom!!" she cried in fear, as her father and Asako failed in reaching them, and settled by holding the vine they were gripping... a rush of fright made her freeze, but then some thing bit her leg, only to discover the crawling tentacle wrapping her legs not so nicely "Hey!! Let go!!" she struggled hard, but the thorns were darting her face and chest... doing her best to fight the thing, some thing suddenly smashed it away, as a quick flame drew it's lines right on top of her sight, still not touching the little female...
"Are you alright?" the one legged man questioned... as he held a long pipe connected to a strange looking container in one hand, supporting him self on a crutch that was nothing really but a half melted rifle...
"Yeah... I'm okay..." she was a bit scared of him, he had dark blue eyes, thick eye brows, a muscular body, long hair in magnificent red, with a pony-tail till his shoulder blades, tanned milky skin, kind of like her fathers, well build shoulders, long strong looking legs... err, leg!! The other was missing till the knee... wearing a trench coat, and a turtle neck shirt under it, with a blue jeans pants, all in leather black, in other words, a Bishounèn, still, a bad guy! Is he?! Or Isn't he?! But he was hit by the back by a crazy tentacle, snipped from the rest of the body to only slam his back... the flame thrower hit a near by tree, and the turning knob slightly got curved, preventing him from using it...

He craned his head around towards the bug beast, as the long black mass of hair jump off it, avoiding a lashing tentacle... "Sheez!! What do we have to do to kill this f***ing thing?" cursed the Beast Barrier, as he stood next to his partner who gifted the bug with a huge thunder bolt, making a tentacle explode into tiny little smacks of yellow goo every where...
"Ewwww!!!" said the boy with disgust, as the puss splattered every where... the beast blew up a bug chunk of it, but it only made it more angry... besides, it had way too many arms/tentacles to spare!! "What a way'ta go strip face!!" he congratulated his friend scolding...
"Oh shut your crap!!" scolded back the beast... darting another tentacle, the beast leaped high and aimed another blow... obviously he was aiming at the bugs eyes, that were protected by its hovering arms all over the place!! Not being able to get a clear aim, the beast landed on it's back, but suddenly felt a stab in his chest, to find a tentacle digging it's way into his stomach... "!" Tora's eyes went wide with sudden pain and surprise, but the bug beast only threw him away, to where the little female and one legged human hid behind a tree... and he didn't make any other move...
"TORA!!" cried the temple boy... a rage of fury rose in his chest, clutching the spear hard, he leaped towards the face, avoiding the tentacles and the welcoming jaws, in an almost flying state... the beasts eyes peeked out like a snails, as it could see in every direction... and the boy didn't get a chance to do an attack, and landed back on earth, after kicking it by the side... but his attention was drawn away by his friend cry...
"USHIO!! HELP US OVER HERE YOU IDIOT!!" cried the girl, almost loosing grip of the vine the two females were holding on with their lives... Nightmare was holding Asako, careful not to release her or she'll be pulled with them, but pulling too hard might make the vine snap... as the other two females had the sand till their chins... Mayuko slipped, but Shadow gripped her with one hand full of claws, hardly keeping it high enough from being sucked in back into the sands, as her other hand gripped the vine hard...
"Hold on!!" she cried as she placed the human on her back... Holding onto the females back, she had an increase of weight, which could only make her sink faster... Shadow tried to go weightless, but she was too tired, not to forget the cuffs, and the sand was pulling hard, her legs went numb...

Asako... Mayuko... Tora... the ugly bug beast... the beast family... the battle... the rescue... every thing spun in a crazy circle, as the boy didn't know what to do first... his head was about to explode in confusion... if he fought the beast, it would be too late to help his friends... and he wont be able to help them unless he killed the beast... and Tora? Did he survive the hit? Craning his head to where his orange furred friend was, he saw the little female standing on the beasts chest, grabbing his shoulders with her tiny hands, shaking him, trying to snap him from his knock out, and the one legged human try to turn a knob of some container, but his attention snapped at the darting tentacle into his chest, gripping him hard and almost squeezing him to death... as a few more tentacles darted Fuusetsu, gasping as it wrapped him harshly, dropping the container...

Dropping her head onto the beasts chest, avoiding a missing blow, Ann felt the rush of fear clutch her heart, and in a nerves rage, she cried in the knocked out beasts face, eyes shut frowning, "Tora!! WAAAAKE-U~~P!!" not acknowledging what she did, her frazzled nerves gave the beast a thunder shock, his eyes snapped wide open as his body snapped by the sudden hit, with the sound of some thing sizzling... Oh, and his fur went *poof*, and all fuzzy... blinking her clutching his shoulders, sitting on his stomach, it really turned out that it wasn't stabbed that bad after all... a few threads of thunder slightly buzzed in his fur...
"Wha~ happened?" he questioned stupidly; this was an awakening he wasn't used on! Thunder sizzled in his fur...
"Tora! Your awake!!" she smiled, as her crystal blue eyes wheeled tears, resting her head on his chest, happy of his return... he cocked an eye brow at her, absolutely looking stupid, only did the temple boys yawl of anger draw his attention to all the commotion going around him...
"Ah!! Take this!!" cried the temple boy as he stabbed the bug injuring one of its eight eyes, decreasing them to seven only... the beast growled in pain and threw away the boy, for him to thud a few feet away...
"Get the flame thrower!!" cried the one legged man to the free temple boy... Ushio craned his head around, towards the container, but then blinking the dark brown beast, struggling their beast not to let go of the vines or for it to snap... Shadow and Mayuko were loosing strength, and the sands pulling them had so much pressure, it was too much for the two of their tired bodies to take...
"Ushio! Catch!!" cried the little females, as she pushed the container towards the temple boy... scanning it, he figured out what the one legged man wanted, but when he attended to turn it's knob, he froze...
"What the f***!!" it was busted!! How is he gonna use it if he cant turn in on!! The boy was lost in what to do!!
"What are you waiting for?" cried the man "throw it in this f***ing things mouth and blow it up!!" he shouted as he struggled to find enough breath to tell the boy what to do!!
"Beast Barrier!!" a husky beast voice cried, as an orange ancient beast hovered in the air a few feet away... pause... frowning with a smile, the temple boy held the contained under his arm, gripping the spear tight, then darting a run towards the beast...

A mass cloud of long black hair hovered above the beast as it jumped towards him... the Beast Barrier threw the container into its mouth, but before it could take it in to see its taste, an ancient beast had already builted up a huge bolt of thunder, growing bigger, and bigger... a single blue and white line flashed... every thing went into light... the temple boy, the ancient beast... Asako, Nightmare and the females... a strong mass of a howling wind drew deep into the silent forest...

In the middle of the ocean... an island floated in the silent waters... silent ripples on the currents... as some thing scaly in purple green mixed with blue, waited a sign of any type to make it's move... it's white scarlet hue tipped wings shimmered above the surface of the waters... every thing was dark, gloomy and absolutely silent... but then... a pillar of light drew its white lines into the great dark sky of the night... every thing went into light... a color of red, orange flames, mixed with the white and blue crackle of faint thunder shimmering into the sky with it... the sound of a howling cry of pain, some thing slowly grew silent, leaving the sound of crackling thunder grow deep... reflecting every thing onto the pure crystal shimmer of water...

The people at the plane all stood up in fright, as Mayukos parents prayed to only have their daughter back, knowing nothing of the female beasts presents, or the fact that she took her into the forest any way... but they were threatened by the bad guys still lurking around, waiting their master and his followers...

Some where near by, on the other side of the island, a giant water dragon waited... 'God, what's taking them so long? It's been two nights and a sunrise since they left!!' her heart pounded in worry... as her minions gathered around, some from the waters underneath, some from the edge of the island, from the land...

Slowly the huge mass of light slowly went silent as every thing went back into dark gloomy night, as still, a few crackles of thunder sizzled in the sky... with white and blue crackles, it sizzled... silent grew again into the ears of every one... but it was broken again with the faint sound of simple droplets onto the dry ground... crystal blue eyes of a water dragon eyes the sky silently... 'Rain!' it whispered with a faint smile... rain would give her time and enough space to go into the island... she could only slither upon any thing wet, and now it's her chance... slowly, she swam towards the island, with nothing on her mind but to follow her minions to where they located them last...

In the middle of the rain, a single tired wet body did it's best to stand... it's only leg didn't do much support... after all, the bug beast got blown up with him still in it's clutch... slumping back on a tree stump, his clothing went a little tattered... Fuusetsu opened his eyes a crack to eye his surroundings...

The Beast Barrier was laying on the ground flat, long black hair wet and thick, spear still in his clutch, eyes closed, as every thing turned wet by the rain, as the orange ancient beast was flat next to him, both looking knocked out... a few feet away, a dark brown beast wit a human girl were holding another human girl and a female beast, both females were followed with a fain trail of sand... and there... next to him... another little female, with silver hair and golden yellow fur...

They all were silent, every single one of them... the bug beast had been destroyed, and the females had been rescued... however that happened!! Slowly, Fuusetsu's eyes widened at the temple boy, slowly coming out of his knock out, drawing him self near the females...
"Asako... Mayuko... are you two alright?" he questioned them softly as he crouched near them...
"Uh, yeah... I guess so!" whispered Asako, they both seemed to wake up also, and so did Shadow and the other male beasts...
"F***!!" cursed the ancient beast "I feel like the spear went through my head... Dammit!" he growled with a hangover he never had before, rubbing his head trying to ease the pain...
"Uhh... S-Shadow? Honey, can you hear me?" whispered the brown beast softly to his mate, as she came out as well, "are you alright?" his eyes were still closed...
"I don't feel so good..." she whispered back, her eyes hardly stayed open, as she and Mayuko were absolutely deadbeat from exhaustion...
"Mom?" a faint voice whispered, Ann drew her self into her mothers embrace, as they both slowly rested finally...

Fuusetsu had a faint smile on his face, as a memory of the past tinkled his heart... but... he couldn't keep it, and he had to let go... he swore to him self that he will revenge for the loss of his leg... and letting the female survive will only brake his promise... but maybe not now... maybe not today... Fuusetsu drew hi was slowly creeping through the island... to where he knew he would find the rest of his gang... "You may have survived this time female... but I'll get you some day... I promise..." with a grin, he walked away, last eyeing her being nuzzles, snuggled by her mate and daughter...

The two girls, temple boy, and beast were eyeing them... finally every thing has ended, and all they have to do is to get back home, right? No, that's wrong!! They still have the kidnapped plane, and to figure out a way to let the police force find them, and the only way to do that is to have a phone, or any type of communication... and from where are they gonna find some thing like *that* here on an island in the middle of no where?? And besides!! Every one is tired, hungry, injured in some way, and in need of rest... so, I guess every thing will have to wait till the next day...

A female water dragon slithered her way into the dark forest in search of her friends... still, little dose she know what she would do... but this isn't our point right now, so, skip it!!

Now it's almost dawn, and every one is in need of a long rest... Ushio had released him self from beast barrier form, and now he's back human, tired sleepy and stinking wet... rubbing his tired dry eyes with the back of one forehand, he rested his head on the huge mass of dark brown fur, spear clutched in his hands still, but propped slightly away from every one else... as every one slept, snuggling them selves into the great big dark brown beast, Asako, Mayuko, Ushio, Shadow and Ann... Tora felt it kind of stupid, so he slipped away to a near by tree and it was big enough for him to curls under and rest... after a short shiver, it really was cold, but better than getting him self near the spear at any case... but then a little brush against his mane took his attention to the hamburger girl, snuggling her self into him, her eyes sleepy, hands clutching his warm, yet kind of wet fur, breathing as her heart pounded hart against her ribs...
"Good night Tora..." she whispered soothingly in a sleepy voice... with a grin he brushed away little of her wet locks from her face... "Sweet dreams..." he murmured, no one could've heard him then... the sound of rain was loud to make any one go deaf as it fell hard... washing away every smack of yellow acid smelling goop away... every thing grew silent... as even the beast had the need of rest... soon it would be light, and they will need a lot of rest to gain back their strength... they still have much to go through for this to end...
